Opie the trouble-seeker
We had a long power cut-- the third in as many months-- this past week. One guy in our house who loves power cuts is Opie. When it's dark in the house, he can see all the critters and people outside all the better. And bark!
Hi Vaishali...Had to come and reply to your comment on Tanglewood threads...Rock Creek Park is a wonderful place isn`t it! As a teenager I used to live in Chevy chase and Rock Creek Park was a favourite place to visit...even without dogs. I can see it would be ideal for your two lovely dogs. I agree with Opie, watching the critters with the lights out is fun.
Oh lovely.. lovely!! Im not really an animal person.. But I've got a little dog at home.. and totally love him.. Was nervous when my bro got him home for the girls.. But now.. I think.. I love him more and look forward to spending time with him.. He is equal to my little girlies now!! :-)
I must share your blog with my friend.. who is a total animal lover.. and has a few dogs, cats, hamsters, birds.. etc... at home.. She takes care of the ill ones.. makes them well.. and then manages to send them away.. But they come back to stay with her!!
