  3. OMG!! Your smallies are absolutely ADORABLE!! Touch wood!! I REALLYY REALLLYYY hope Lucy had a successful surgery and is recovering well from it. Can't wait to hear how it went.

I constantly am trying to get my three month ol' son to get to know my other 4 children, kitty-poo children, that is - Tabby, 15; Mickey, BGA & Book - 5!! I lived in the Gulf all my life, and only recently moved to Bangalore. We took these smallies in when they were just babies, and they have been with us ever since. When my folks moved from Dubai, my mom who is loves them, promised my dad that she wouldn't ask for ANYTHING ever again, if he'd agree to bring them with her. And he agreed.

The worst part is that India has crappy rules about bringing just one companion animal per person and what not - rules designed to extract bribes, no doubt. So after having to pay about two and a half lakhs to move the four l'ill dahlins, we got them to Manipal, since our apt complex in Mumbai has a stupid no-pet policy!! In any case, my dad finally bought an apartment in Blre to accommodate my mom and the cats. :0)
So, ya he might be 45 lakhs or so down, but we are all happy!! :0D

Honestly, I feel I shud really apologize for being so verbose in my comments on your page(s). The truth is however, I knew very few people who love animals as much, so its always nice communicating with them. :0)

I want to work really hard to go vegan once more. You see, I used to be vegan for a LONG time, before I moved to Canada to study and since I had a meal-card that came with my dorm room, I had to eat what I cud get, and had to go vegetarian again. Now, considering I am married and my in-laws live with me, its so hard to change my diet. Esp. since my MIL is the one who does most of the cooking. Even if I wanted to cook, taking care of my 3 month old leaves me with precious little time to do anything of the sort. Also, vegan alternatives to dairy products in particular are very hard to come by in India. It was something I really never had to think about in Dubai. Everything was available. But its a small price to pay in any case, since so many animals would benefit from my conversion. :0)

Ok.... I think I've rambled on enough already. So let me leave by saying that I hope I am able to go the Vegan way sooner than later. I am sure when I do, I will be visiting your Holy Cow! blog more often!! :0)

So sorry about the long comment, again, and heres praying that Lucy recovers REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL soon!! :0)
